SamDad Food is an easy, secure and simple way to choose and order food online from your local restaurant. All restaurants registered on our website are thoroughly scrutinised and verified with their certified documentations from the right regulatory bodies in Ghana. We manage delivery when customers order and select delivery option. We make it convenient for you to order your food online by removing the hassle and time associated with ordering traditional takeaway. In simple terms, no more searching high and low for menus, making costly phone calls or driving in the rain to pick up your food – not to mention the cold meal awaiting you when you arrive home.

    1. Use the search engine to find your favourite local restaurants or enter the restaurant name
    2. Choose your favourite restaurant and browse through menus to select your meal
    3. Choose your delivery option
    4. Review and pay for your order
    5. Place your order
    6. Check your email for confirmation
    7. Relax and wait for your order to be delivered

When you place an order, SDF digitally sends your order to the restaurant instantly. A verification email then notify us that the restaurant has received your order. If there happens to be a problem, you will be conducted by the restaurant.

Our system automatically generates password and sends to your email when you register your account. Your user name is the name you submitted as ‘user’ when creating your personalised account. If you have forgotten your user name, just go to your email that you used during registration or use ‘forgot password’ to receive a new password. There you can find your user and password the system generated during registration. However if you’re still having trouble logging into your account, please reach out to your our support team throughlive chatwho can help you with your login details.
To ensure you use the correct email address our system automatically generates a password and sends to email address you used when setting up your user account. It may take up to 30 minutes to receive the email. Please check your junk or spam folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.

YES. Customers who have placed orders on a particular restaurant can review their experience about the restaurants and their food. We have made it IMPOSSIBLE for customers to give reviews unless they’ve successfully placed an order. This is because reviews have the power to gain customers trust, and encourage people to buy from a restaurant.

Follow these steps to review a restaurant;

  1. Login to your account dashboard
  2. Click on ‘MY ORDER’
  3. On the dashboard, you will see all orders and a button to review.
  4. Click on the ‘GIVE REVIEW’ button on your dashboard
  5. Select how many stars you want to give for: service, quality & Value.
  6. Complete the review form and click the ‘submit your review’ button. All done.

It’s easy to book a table on samdadfood.com. To book a table, search for the restaurant you want to book a table. Click on the ‘Book a Table’ button and fill out the form. Please provide any instructions or information you would like the restaurant to know about your bookings.

Ordering Food

To place an order browse through restaurants in your locality to explore your tasty foods and click ‘order now’ to take you to that particular restaurant’s menu. Check the menu and click on the plus (+) button to select your tasty meal. This will add your selected menu to your cart. Ensure that you have picked the correct DATE and TIME by using the calendar button. Select your delivery and payment options and click ‘confirm order’.
As soon as you place an order, order confirmation email will be sent to the restaurant you’ve ordered food. You will also receive a confirmation email stating your order details. You can also see all your orders from your account dashboard by logging into account and clicking on the ‘My Order’ button which will display all your orders details.
To view the status of your order you have placed, login to your account and select ‘My Order’ button to display the order status.
Yes, but order cancellation is dependent on the status of your order. Orders that are not yet been processed can be cancelled by the restaurant. All you need to do is to check your order status and contact the restaurant immediately.
It’s easy to contact a restaurant. Your order confirmation email contains contact information of the restaurant you made order to. You can also use the search button to locate the restaurant’s contact information.
Unfortunately, you can’t order from multiple restaurants in the same order.
However, you can place a separate order from a different restaurant while your current order is being prepared and delivered. Please note that each order will have a separate delivery fee

We strive to help provide you with the greatest choice of delicious meals delivered quickly to your door. There may be times where restaurants are very busy or there are a lot of orders for our couriers. Typically, from external factors such as traffic, road works, and weather conditions. It could even be that the restaurant is taking a little more time to prepare the food, just to make sure it’s perfect for you!
For the most up to date information about your order, login to your account section to check the status of your order. As soon as there is progress on your order, the order status screen will be updated.
In the rare instance that order has been marked as delivered and you haven’t received it, please contact us on one of the below channels as soon as possible so that we can begin our investigation. Please have your order number and contact details handy.

We’re passionate about delivering you the meals you want, when you want them, so if something is not as expected, please double check your order confirmation email and call the restaurant if the order is incorrect. If for some reason the restaurant is unable to provide the missing items, please use our live chat button below to get in touch. Please have the following information available:

      1. Order ID (this can be found on the order confirmation page or on the email that we have sent to you)
      2. Details of what you received

Our team will then liaise with the restaurant partner to assist you further however please note, we will be unable to organise a re-delivery of the requested order items.
You can also leave a review for the restaurant.
Please try and be constructive – we discuss reviews (good and bad) with restaurants and it helps them improve their service. It also helps other people using SamDad Food decide where to order from.

The pre-order option allows customers to place orders days or weeks in advance. This feature is helpful to restaurant owners in knowing what they need to keep in stock for that particular date. 

Delivery Issues

Once you’ve placed your order, it’s sent directly to the restaurant for them to prepare and package. A soon as it’s ready, a delivery rider will pick up your order and bring it to your delivery address.

Your order will be picked up and delivered to you by ourdelivery driver or rider. You might be contacted by them prior to delivery.


NOTE: NEVER PAY ANY MONEY TO A DELIVERY DRVER OR RIDER.

 

Delay of order delivering may be as a result of conditions which are not under the control of our delivery drivers or riders. 

Yes. Our fee is based on your location from the restaurant you place your order. All charges are clearly set for each restaurant and canbe seen when placing your order.

Payment

You can only pay for your order with MTN, Vodafone Cash, Airtel Tigo & QR Code.  The system will require you to

1. Dial a number on your mobile phone to confirm transaction

2. Click OK on your your phone after dialing the code and your transaction is confirmed

3. You will need to come back and click on the continue button, once you’re done proceed to make payment.

At SamDad Food we’re committed to protecting your payment details including debit or credit card and mobile money details so you can be confident when ordering food on our website.
We’ll always:
• Make sure that your payment details are securely processed on our systems

We’ll never:
• Ask you to send your payment details to us by email or Live Chat
• Ask you to tell us what the PIN is for your mobile money or payment card
• Share your payment details with any of our suppliers, other than those directly involved in securely processing payments

Yes. as a subscriber you will be prompted by your mobile network to enter your PIN to authorize payment. 
Yes. With Mobile Money Interoperability (MMI) it is simply seamless to make payment from one mobile money wallet to another across all networks. With MMI a subscriber only needs their existing mobile money PIN to authorize all transactions to other networks.
SamDad Food occasionally offers discount and promotional codes. You can apply your discount code during checkout. At top of the payment page, click on apply coupon and enter your coupon code in the box below. That’s it.

Login or signup issue

Locate and click on the login/signup button at the top main menu navigator. To sign in enter your username and password. To signup, scroll down on the login page and click signup to be taken to the new account page.
It’s easy to local your latitude and longitude. Just click find my latitude and longitude and add your town or city name follow by a comma, then type Ghana and click on find. Example: you can add Kumasi in this way. Kumasi, Ghana.
